MESSAGE FROM THE SOCCER COMMISSIONER It is an honor to represent our Soccer coaches as this year’s Soccer Commissioner. It is the philosophy of the Athletic Director’s and of CMAC to provide student athletes with developmentally appropriate activities to enable them to acquire the skills necessary to participate safely and with success in their respective sports. This is achieved by providing quality programs, which are run by dedicated and trained coaches. It is our responsibility to provide an atmosphere in which the student athletes feel safe and willing to try new things. CMAC is a competitive league but it is also important for the coaches and parents to allow the student athletes to play on their own. This is a time for us to teach the skills needed for our sports and allow time for the players to master them. Sports are an excellent medium to develop discipline, self esteem, confidence, and a sense of responsibility. It is also an opportunity for us to boost school pride and spirit and to support our schools. Above all we should remember that we are putting our Catholic values in to play on and off the field.
